Biography

Born in Canada and raised in Malaya, Berlin, Naples and Hampshire, Sarah spent worked as a swaps trader on Wall Street before studying Figurative Art at The New York Academy of Art, graduating with a Masters in Fine Art in 1991. 

 

 Since then she has principally worked to commission for collectors in both Europe and the United states. Work has included oil paintings, sculptures, murals, portraits and commercial illustrations.

 

 In 1991 Sarah was awarded Third Prize in the 13th James Wilbur Johnston Sculpture Competition, New York. This is a national, on-site, week-long competition judged by three internationally known sculptors and is awarded for mastery of the figure in sculptural form.

 

Sarah has exhibited at Lucy Campbell Fine Art and in many group shows, including the 1999 BP portrait award. She is currently working exclusively on portrait commissions.
